Insurance & billing

Insurance & self‑pay at Urgent Care Now.

We accept most major insurance plans—including Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, MVP, Aetna, and TRICARE—and offer self‑pay options for those without coverage. We do not accept Fidelis or New York State Medicaid; we do accept managed Medicaid plans through Excellus, MVP, and other insurers. We are not in network with UnitedHealthcare plans. If you want us to be in network, please discuss that with UnitedHealthcare. Our goal is to make billing as straightforward as possible. If you have questions, you can always call our office at 585‑872‑1003, or see our FAQ or contact us online.

Because insurance plans and benefits vary, our team will verify your coverage and collect any required co‑pay or known patient‑responsibility at the time of your visit whenever possible.

UnitedHealthcare: not in network

Urgent Care Now is not in network with UnitedHealthcare plans. UnitedHealthcare of New York is not extending new Medical Group Agreements at this time and has asked us to apply for in‑network status after January 1, 2027 (after Quarter 4 of 2026).

Correspondence from UnitedHealthcare of New York

“At this time, UnitedHealthcare of New York is not extending new Medical Group Agreements until after Quarter 4 of 2026.”

If you want Urgent Care Now to be in network, please discuss this with UnitedHealthcare. Call the member services number on your insurance card and ask them to add Urgent Care Now (Webster, NY) to their provider network. We cannot become in network until UnitedHealthcare is ready to extend new agreements.

We still welcome UnitedHealthcare patients. We will honor the participating (in‑network) rate for UnitedHealthcare customers; however, we will continue to bill your visit as out of network.
